- Responsible for the new product design & engineering duties, such as new product design, concept proposal, making component and assembly drawings, BOM, engineering changes and other documents, analysis and cost estimations, cost reduction and improvement of the existing products, component or product transfer and localization, new product design, to meet the market and customer requirements. Connectors and cable assembly design and development knowledge is must. 1 Connector design experience(industrial, EV, railway) and lots of experience in concept/proposals. 2 Perform product engineering duties, component and assembly drawings, BOM, product system data, engineering changes, other engineering documents etc. 3 Solve product, documentation and quality problems; 4 Cost estimations of product and processes; 5 Perform other engineering duties, such as analysis, FMEA, design review, VBPD, sample making & approval, CPAR, product localization, improvement & cost reduction, RoHS compliance etc. 6 Manage project, design new products, ensure it meets the performance & schedule; 7 Audit potential suppliers with SCM and QE members; 8 Release engineering files; A) Minimum professional and educational background desired (include years of experience). 1．Education Level：College, engineering major; 2．Year of Experience：3 years minimum; Knowledge: * Engineering principles and documents * Connector materials and processes, cost structure * Engineering analysis, DFMEA, flow chart, product specification etc. * Project management B) Describe the most important competencies required of the individual. 1 Proficient in use of Creo3.0/Pro-Eto create layout, drawings and other engineering documents; 2 Can use the common office software, such as Excel, Word, Outlook etc. 3 Project management, VBPD skills. 4 Good communication skills. 5 Familiar with plastic mold and metal die. 6 Familiar with ISO 7 Good oral and writing English.
