Position Summary The job incumbent is responsible for leading and managing digitalization team, incl. digitalization projects development and provides technical expertise to ensure that the projects meet the customer and company requirements, product knowledge development, team daily management and growth. Coach new staff on M+H knowhow and procedure related to digitalization. Manage innovation projects for new method and new technology. Main Accountabilities  Lead and manage product digitalization team, and the activity of digitalization work, assign tasks according to R&D projects need.  Product technology management: monitor new product technology; create investigation plan, product benchmark, documentation management.  Team management and growth: track and amend personal development, target agreement, define necessary promotions, training plan, hiring, leave, product R&D task assignment, work-load management, propose team headcount plan, drive LPE incensement.  Involve global and regional digitalization network, build solid collaboration with other locations to exchange experience, new approach or best practice. Attend regular digitalization relevant network conference/meeting, or expert talk.  Provide timely and high quality technical support to local/global R&D team, organize yearly basic & advanced product knowledge training for local team.  Review and release design, drawing and technical assessment report, etc.  Lead innovation project in terms of new methodology, product trend, and new process/material, etc.  Intimacies establish with customer counterpart department, visit customer and understand requirements and access competitive landscape.  Track the IP absence of key competitors in market, as a reference of acoustic development strategy.  Support the Digitalization Expert in the preparation and the realization of the engineering handbook.  Provide support for fairs, tech shows and exhibitions to ensure that the M+H brand is promoted and new customers are attracted. Job Requirements (Qualifications, Skills, Experience, Competencies) Education Qualification Concluded academic studies in software engineering, electronics, computing, communication engineering or comparable. No. of Years of Experience At least 8 years experience in digitalization area, and exceptionally talented, outstanding master or PhD can be considered as well. Professional Exposure (Technical Skills)  Knowledge of big data, database and cloud.  Good know-how of digital products and service design.  Project management expertise in system development and integration, with product release and continuous integration & delivery capabilities.  Familiar with engineering BOM and Engineering change management.  Basic digital signal processing and a background in software development is a plus. Preferred previous experiences  IT related experience in hardware/software.  Digital component development experience.  Vehicle research/development relevant experience.  Work experience in OEM or tier 1 supplier is preferred. Functional Skills  Strong focus on digitalization, willingness to take ownership and learn/adapt to new technologies.  Agile mindset, adapting to new conditions, open for new contacts and ideas.  Excellent vehicle structure knowledge under hood.  Excellent at MS-office software and presentation skill.  Basic Project management skill.  Good coaching and training skill.  Strong coordination skill among functional groups both internal and external.  Leading a multi-functional team in problem resolving.  Good understanding on system integration driven by saving and quality.  Organization and priority management.  Leadership skill.  Management and development of people. Behavioural Skills  Excellent communication skill, good team work.  Ability to work under pressure, and exercise independent judgment & take initiative.  Trouble shooting and problem solving skill.  Clear focus on delivering on time, good quality and low cost.  Fast response on customer complaint of design failure issue with satisfactory action plan and timeline.  Good customer intimacy skill.  Initiative sense.  Fluent English and Chinese language skills, German or other language skill is a plus. Any Others  Flexibility to travel.  Willingness to sharing, contribution.
