职位介绍: Job summary: To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Senior Mechanical Designer located in Suzhou What a typical day looks like: • Design and Development of advanced electro-mechanical devices for the industrial product, IoT device • Design of electro-mechanical systems for power supply, charging, thermal transmission, user interface, mechanical movement, sealing etc. • Detail design and miniaturization of parts and systems • Design for cost and optimal performance of parts and systems including design verification testing • Design documentation following design procedures including system requirements, design verification planning, traceability matric, DFMEA, risk analysis, functional analysis, hazard analysis, root cause analysis • Work as part of a wider Flex design team and in direct contact with customer engineers. • Complete other tasks assigned by design manager or engineering director The experience we’re looking to add to our team: • Minimum 8 years working experience, including but not limited to high-quality handheld tablet with smart connected devices industry is advantage. • Particular attention to miniaturization of electro-mechanical systems • Ability to collaborate with other functional experts in the team, such as electronics engineer, process engineer, quality engineer etc. • Ability to propose cost down solution after material process optimization • Experience with stack-up tolerance analysis • Experience with plastic molding, sheet metal, diecasting process • Experience of Industry Design will be bonus • Experience of heat sink, shielding cover will be bonus • Experience of mechanical FE simulation to understand structure, strength • Qualification / Training in Design for Six Sigma and Statistics. Experienced in using tools and methodologies such as Design-FMEA, requirements management, hazard analysis, functional analysis • Fluent preferably in SolidWorks and/or Creo or other 3D cad system. • Experience of CE, Reach and other regulatory certification • Fluency in both English and Chinese is an advantage.
