Position Description The TechOps team works closely with the FICC and EQD business which has enjoyed massive growth in the last few years, both in revenue and profits, against our competition in the market. The IT platform consists of a variety of systems, some of which are built in-house and some of which are from vendors, with a view to quickly meeting the demands of an ever expanding business and a broad client base. We are looking for an exceptional performer to join the TechOps team in Hong Kong. The main responsibility of the team is to provide Level 1 and Level 2 support on the FICC and EQD systems to the business users. We would like to invite experienced IT support professionals with knowledge on global market systems who wants to further develop their career to join our fast-paced, dynamic and multi-cultural team. The candidate would be a senior member in the team and would report directly to the Head of TechOps, FICC and EQD. Key Areas of Responsibilities • Provide functional support on Calypso and other in-house systems to user • Maintain documentation on operational procedures and technical environment configuration • Manage change requests from development and infrastructure teams and other configuration changes • Incident escalation and management • Configure system monitoring rules and respond to monitoring alerts • Perform BCP drills and help with IT security and audit review • Leads projects related to new system and server deployment • Other tasks as directed by the manager Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree with Honor (or equivalent) or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering or an IT related discipline from a prestigious institution • 6-10 years of experience in system support of Calypso or similar systems for Equity Derivatives or FICC products in a Front or Middle Office environment • Good knowledge of SQL • Proficiency in Windows and Linux server commands and shell scripts • Good understanding of server and network infrastructure • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills • Good communication skills • Very strong attention to details • Able to work under pressure • Willing to work on morning shifts (from 7am) and take turns to work on weekend • Experience with Bloomberg terminals and systems • Hands on with Python, VBA or other scripting languages • Putonghua (Mandarin Chinese) is an advantage If you are seeking a dynamic environment in which to build your career in CLSA, please send your resume to our recruitment email.
