Ligentia is a leading international supply chain and freight services group. The Group was founded in 1996 by current Group CEO Nick Jones, and has grown through a combination of organic growth and acquisition. The business was formed as
Redfern International Logistics Ltd in 1996, and following the acquisition of Dolphin Logistics in 2008, the Group was rebranded as Ligentia.
The Ligentia name derives from the Latin word "Ligeantia" or "Liege" meaning trusted partner, and the decision to rebrand two companies both with long established histories was made to emphasise our core value of trust and partnerships, with customers, colleagues, suppliers and stakeholders.
The Ligentia team is one of the most experienced in the industry, and we are able to work collaboratively on large projects, involving different suppliers and vendors, and ensuring the focus is always on improving our customers business.
Our independance and non-asset owning strategy mean our clients are guaranteed solutions thats focus on delivering benefit to them, and not filling warehouses or ships owned by a parent company.
Ligentia Group main corporate offices are Leeds and Hong Kong, with fully owned branch offices across UK, HK, China, and Vietnam, and joint ventures and partnership offices across the world.
