职位介绍: Position Summary The person will be responsible for conducting design change to VCT(Variable Camshaft Timing) products, new awarded VCT projects in quality launching, bench marking products from competitors, quality issue solving and manufacturing support. This person is also conducting product development process of DMS while doing engineering works and following existing the BorgWarner Design Guides. Principal Accountabilities / Responsibilities Proficient inVCT(Variable Camshaft Timing) system and component status information, able to independently write technical documents Master the engine development process and VCT technical key points, can independently complete VCT system parts supplier technical communication, sample manufacturing,2D/3D data analysis and other work Master VCT test projects, able to cooperate with the test department to complete the engine level, system level DVPR verification support, approval and other work Master the method of potential failure mode analysis, and be able to propose preventive measures and detection means for potential failure analysis in DFMEA Proficient in quality problem analysis methods including 8D, red-X, etc., familiar with engine design and development process, able to analyze and solve quality problems of simple products Proficient in Pro/e software Establish product specifications with internal team and customer Generate program time line based on customer requirements and timing Establish design change to system design and packaging layouts with design engineer Create and maintain open issues log, and review with local and global team Conduct ESO's (Engineering Sign Off) as required Perform tolerance stack ups for system components Oversight of FEA/CFD analysis Review, analyze, and report generation of returned hardware Propose and analyze cost reduction opportunities Support to resolution of quality and/or manufacturing issues, internal and external Maintain lessons learned log and experience catalog Participate on product launch team Safety: This position will adhere to safety rules, practices and training as outlined in the BorgWarner Safety Policy Manual, which includes the use of equipment, protective devices, or clothing that the employer requires. This individual will work in manners that stress the importance of preventing accidents and illnesses. He/she must take every precaution reasonable in the given circumstance for the protection of themselves and coworkers. In addition, he/she is responsible for reporting all injuries and/or possible dangerous situations, incidents, or occurrences to the immediate supervisor. Meet EHS responsibilities requirement. Requirements / Qualifications Bachelor's in Mechanics. Master Degree is plus Familiar with automotive system, instruction applications, mechanics basics Understand product development process, product family concept and parametric design.83 Good spoken, written and communication skills in both Chinese and English. Microsoft Office like Excel, Powerpoint, Microsoft Outlook.
