职位介绍: Key Responsibilities: • Drive or support target identifications and validation in collaboration with pharmacology and oligonucleotide chemistry teams. • Assess feasibility and identify critical issues and key technical challenges. Bring forward practical means and resource necessary to resolve the potential hurdles. • Design and implement various in vitro and in vivo studies to elucidate molecular mechanism of target of interest and to establish connection to human diseases. • Initiate new drug discovery projects based on scientific insight with cross-functional input. • Develop disease relevant animal models to evaluate in vivo pharmacology. Identify and develop mechanism-based, disease relevant biomarkers and reliable methods for their quantification. • Apply skills in drug discovery to assess the potency, selectivity, safety, PK and PD of novel molecules. • Perform scientific analysis for results interpretation and present them collaboratively. • Prepare standard operational protocols, study reports and high-quality manuscripts. • Function as biology lead, coordinate cross functional activities among internal team and external partners to timely drive drug discovery programs from inception to clinical candidate. • Provide support to IND filing and clinical development. • Organize and maintain laboratory and train associates and/or junior scientists. • Work in a flexible schedule to meet deadlines. • Fulfill other tasks assigned by supervisor. Qualifications: • Ph.D. in immunology, metabolic diseases, kidney diseases, or a related field. Post-doctoral training experience is preferred. Minimal three（3） years of postgraduate industrial experience is a must. • Strong track record in basic research and in biotech R&D setting. • The candidate should have good learning agility and sound analytical acuity, can tackle complex scientific questions. • The candidate should be familiar with the current competitive landscape for the disease areas of interest. • Should be proficient in designing and conducting experiments involving the state-of-the-art techniques within the areas of cell biology, immunology, biochemistry, molecular biology, and pharmacology. • Should communicate effectively, collaborate efficiently with co-workers. • Must be self-motived and willing to work flexibly to meet delivery goals. • Prior experience in leading drug discovery program into clinical development is highly preferred.
