职位介绍: General Description: Lead a team of pharmacologists to drive the pharmacology evaluation and mechanistic characterization of different drug modalities. This team will provide a critical role in the drug discovery and development process to ensure delivery of high-quality pharmacology data that enables small molecules and biologics discovery and development programs. The group leader will provide senior pharmacology expertise, contribute to the strategic direction of the pharmacology discipline, and work continuously to drive improvements in operational efficiencies. To represent pharmacology team, play a key role in project teams, and ensure effective communication and collaboration with other teams and function lines. Responsibility: Oversee and provide guidance to the pharmacology evaluations of oncology and non-oncology programs; Manage internal and external resources to deliver quality data in an efficient manner; Manage and supervise study planning, protocol design, study implementation and result publishing. Propose and lead new program as needed. Target/program review and evaluation for due diligence purpose as needed. Keep familiarity with the regulatory requirements of preclinical pharmacology research. Represent pharmacology team, play a key role in project teams, and ensure effective communication and collaboration with other teams and function lines; Contribute to the strategic direction of the pharmacology department. Work continuously to drive improvements in operational efficiencies. Other management responsibilities as needed. Qualifications and skills: PhD or PhD/MD degree in a relevant scientific field. A minimum of 5-10 years’ post-doctoral experience in preclinical pharmacology, translational research, and drug discovery. Previous biotech or pharma industry experience is required. Experience in establishing in vivo models and designing in vivo pharmacology studies for drug candidate evaluation. Experience in cross-functional research program management and new target identification is required. Demonstrated capability in identifying and solving critical scientific questions in preclinical research and success in leading preclinical research programs from target validation to IND. Experience in clinical drug development is beneficial, including basic or advanced knowledge and understanding of critical development functions, for example, clinical pharmacology, regulatory, safety, etc. Demonstrated success in building, leading, and managing scientific teams. Recognized scientific leadership as documented by references and external presentations. Possesses outstanding presentation and communication skills. Demonstrated effectiveness and growth in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment. 职位信息工作地点北京市
